In the artist's own words, "these drawings are part of a series inspired by the urban landscape of Athens. They represent an attempt to connect the painting rhythm with the outside world, as I perceive both. The fact that I never enjoyed looking at the urban landscape made me constantly search for its order and its internal rhythm, trying to create a desire in the viewer for something that is apparently ugly."
