Beatrice grew up in a military family and they were always on the move, constantly uprooting and resettling in new places. The ‘No Landing’ paintings are a collection of representations from the many countries she has lived in. Additionally this series was also impacted by the beginning of the refugee crisis facing Europe in 2014. These paintings started with oils on canvas that were photographed, then printed on A3 inkjet paper and continued to be worked on with mixed media, such as posca pens and acrylics.
