He has completed postgraduate studies in History and Theory of Art and is a PhD candidate at the University of Ioannina. Human groups and the formality of their virtual recording on the canvas mainly inspire his work. For the artist, they represent a continuous journey between the everyday and the transcendental, the objective and the subjective, the classical and the contemporary. Through the depiction of human figures, as a group or individually, he tries to achieve a combination of the realistic element with the absolute abstract purity of the line, beyond the academic notion of integration and merging the form into a perfectly geometric space.
