Christina Papaioannou

Christina Papaioannou comes from Thessaloniki, Greece, where she currently lives and works. She holds an Integrated Master’s degree from Athens School of Fine Arts.
She has exhibited across Greece, Cyprus, London and her work is in private collections. In 2019 she won the MATAROA Award for upcoming artists at 4th Art Thessaloniki International Contemporary Art Fair.
She is one of the seven artists who participated in the historic annual exhibition entitled ROOMS2021, organized by Kappatos Gallery in collaboration with established curators and art historians. She participated in Platforms Project 2021 Independent Art Fair with the artist collective DIPOLA, presenting in a group installation under the title "Is the History of Art a history of violence?".
