This painting comes from a series inspired from the artist’s everyday life and his occupation with his art, as a way to interact with his surroundings, be it objects, people or landscapes. They can be viewed as the result of his daily practice so as to be active and alert, in order to discover his next subject. In the artist’s own words, “these pictures help me keep a better contact with my subject matter and better express my thought”.
